MIDLAND CONSERVATION DISTRICT WATER TUNNEL
RENTAL AGREEMENT
(MAXIMUM TOWING SPEED IS 55 MPH)

_________________________________________ agrees to the following rental agreement use of the “Water Tunnel”.

1. A rental fee of $35 per day is to be paid in advance (no traveling day charges).

2. A $250 security deposit

3. Liability Insurance is the Midland Conservation District’s responsibility.

4. Damage and theft has a $250 deductible insurance policy. (Minor damages will come out of the security deposit).

5. Moving the display is the renter’s responsibility. Hauling liability will be covered under the renters “towers insurance” on the vehicle hauling the trailer. Midland Conservation District will deliver the display at a cost of $________ per mile plus $8.50 an hour for employee expense (see below).  (This includes delivery, set up and tear down assistance, and return).

6. The Water Tunnel must be set up in a covered/sheltered area and must be manned at all times during display hours. It must be in a secured/locked area during off-hours.

7. Upon return of the Water Tunnel someone from the Midland Conservation District staff is to look through the display with the delivery person.

Damage expenses will be as follows:
·       Minimal damage will have an automatic charge of $100.00 deducted from the security deposit (scratches, tears, anything missing).
·       The full security deposit of $250.00 will not be returned if damages to the Water Tunnel are extreme (repair shop needed).
